Key Car Rental was founded in 1982, and today, it has over 50 branches across KSA and is one of the leading car rental companies in the country, offering all kinds of vehicles from compacts to SUVs and luxury saloons.

The company was looking for an online solution to cover the complete car rental process, without the need for an interaction with an agent, which is why they asked us to take their offering to the next level.

Solution

We were able to deliver a comprehensive solution via a new website and a dynamic booking engine, encompassing selecting a vehicle, booking, and insurance, along with other options such as extra drivers, and payment and confirmation.

The new website is promoted by social media and special online offers to drive increased online bookings delivered by EDESIGN.

In addition, we created a new mobile app that’s fully integrated with the booking engine, which is in turn fully integrated with their internal system. We have also completely customized their back-end processes for efficient management and lower costs.

Our next step will be to arrange vehicle pickups without the need for visiting an outlet or even talking to an agent. This will allow Key to start closing offices to reduce costs. We are also aiming to help Key in becoming the first car rental agency in Saudi Arabia to deliver cars directly to customers’ offices, homes or other pickup locations which will allow customers to sign for it and drive away.
